SupplyWeaver launched the Low Cost Supply Chain Forum at the professional network site Linkedin.
SupplyWeaver Low Cost Supply Chain Forum is the first dedicated Linkedin group for low cost supply chains. It is designed for the supply chain practitioners who work with global supply chains. In the group members will have the chance to discuss every topic around low cost supply chains.
Many organisations have extended low cost supply chains which give them competitive advantages as well as exposure to higher risks, different business approaches and cultures.
Excessive inventory and stock-outs, poor visibility, a lack of trust, unreliable supply, price hikes, discrepancies between samples and final products, and broken supply chains are some typical symptoms associated with low cost supply chains.
There are many things we can learn and teach each other. This Centre enables supply chain practioners to talk about their experiences, goals, thoughts and ideas.
But most importantly they can do this amongst their peers, co-workers and future friends.
Group members already include Supply Chain VPs, Directors, Procurement and Sourcing Executives, and C-level people across the world.
